History of TWTDThe website began in 1995 when Phil, anxious to get involved in anything vaguely trendy and, having started editing the paper-based fanzine earlier in the year, hooked up with Anglianet for a site which was nothing more than a few stories from the latest issue of the fanzine and an email address. Not long afterwards Mark Owen offered his services and the website improved dramatically.
In the summer of 1996 Gavin Wilding got involved and became the technical editor of the website. The Message Board and Chatroom followed quickly and the site evolved and grew as the years passed.
In the summer of the year 2000, as Town fans eagerly awaited the club's first season back in the Premiership, TWTD went into partnership with Rivals Europe as supplier of their Ipswich Town content.
During the close season ahead of 2001/02 with Town back in Europe, the fanzine and website both became These Are The Days. With the beginning of the new season the name reverted back to the more rueful original.
TWTD left Rivals on the eve of the 2007/08 season to join the new Club Fanzine network.
